Engagement Types

We believe that a single business model or engagement type is not suitable for every business. We will work with you to understand your short-term and long-term business goals, your budget, your level of acceptable risk and the role you want to play in hands-on management to help you select the appropriate engagement model for your needs.

Engagement Models

• Fixed Price: You pay a pre-negotiated fixed price for the complete project, which is linked to well-defined deliverables. Milestone-based payment schedules are used to monitor progress.
• Time & Materials: The standard time-and-materials methods of work, based on actual spend. This is monitored through weekly progress reports.
• Dedicated Development Center: This model is an extension of your software development facility and business operations and is geared to companies that want long-term gains from offshore outsourcing. In this model NetXs Solutions' Emerging Technologies Center reserves and utilizes resources, equipment and infrastructure exclusively for your business.
• Dual-Shore Development Model: This model takes advantage of onsite and offshore outsourcing services to maximize efficiency and deliver results at reduced costs. With Dual-Shore, 20% to 30% of work is typically done onsite and 70% to 80% is sent offshore. Advantages include near-24-hour work cycles, the ability to structure and assemble teams with diverse skill sets, leverage lower-cost resources and scale quickly (up or down) depending on project requirements.
• Build-Operate-Transfer Business Model: This model enables you to rapidly launch dedicated offshore operations that are initially managed completely by NetXs Solutions and are later transferred to your business as its own subsidiary/captive center.
• Captive-Center Establishment (Your Competency Center): Captive model means that you create a presence in a lower cost location and conduct work there as a part of your own operations. You maintain full control and mitigate risks associated with intellectual property and other sensitive business information.
